The inferior vesical artery is one of the visceral branches of the internal iliac arteries of the pelvis. In the male, it supplies the base of the bladder, as well as the prostate gland, seminal vesicles and vas deferens. In the female, it is often replaced by the vaginal artery, but when present supplies the vagina, in addition to the lower part of the bladder.
